Cloth: White
Construction: A tightly woven fiberglass cloth coated and impregnated with a special heat-resistant natural rubber compound.
Features: Surface coating of talcum eliminates tackiness. Requires minimum bolt load to deform to surface irregularities.
Equipment: Used as a gasketing on rough or uneven flange surfaces.
Recommended for : Use on steam, air, water and gases.
Limitations: Temperatures to 500°F / 260°C. Pressures to 500 p.s.i.
Remarks: Superior tensile strength of fiberglass makes wire insertion commonly used with asbestos cloth unnecessary.
