Type 61

Single Spring Seals
Head Type 61 is our unitized single unit. It is designed to handle fluid and gas applications on rotary shaft sizes 3/8″, 7/16″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″ and 1″. This design features more even spring loading, excellent flexibility to compensate for seal ring wear and has a greater range of installation tolerance variations. Materials of construction for general service are 18-8 SS metal parts and springs, Buna-N elastomers and phenolic seal rings. Also available for extreme operating conditions are 316 SS or monel metal components, carbon-silbide or tungsten seal rings and Viton-EPR or neoprene elastomers.
